For this project I converted an old mower trailer to a cart for Sarah for feeding out. Took about a day, nice and easy and gets used every day!

Well the old crusty BBQ table finally died so what did I do? Make it into a kitchen for the garage of course! Check out the old ford tailgate under the glass…
Yup! I got the itch again… Those who knew me in the earlier days will understand I’ve had and done a few classics… This is the new project. No great rush, just going to chip away at it. Not hotrodding it, just going to turn into a patina’d daly driver. Plan to have this for a few years…
It’s a 1954 Ford F100 pickup. From California originally, left hand drive. Motor is a Y-Block 272 V8, has 4 barrel holly carb. Plenty of bits missing but I’ll sort that.
Another project emerges from my workshop! This is Jack’s new bookshelf and laptop table. Not too shabby from some cheap wood! Looks and works great!
This was the latest project for Sarah. New feed bins for her horse tuck-shop area. Took about 6 hours and they work great! Should be worth some brownie points!
There’s still a few tweaks to do to the gokart, around the steering but the family project is done! Jack was the first to faceplant on the driveway tonight! Good dose of gravel rash! Excellent! Go hard kid!
Another winner rolls out of the workshop!
Mechanic Livvy getting to grips with adjusting the steering. Note the safety gloves!
Those of you with a keen eye will notice that Jack and I have added a keyboard and speaker to the arm of the robot we’re building. We’re just about to add an FM radio to the other arm and then we’ll start attacking the arms with servos to get them moving!
Jack and I are working on a robot project and aim to do a little bit more each week. Today Jack installed and soldered the led eyes, 300ohm resistors and connected the switch and battery.
Tomorrow he’ll finish soldering the circuit board for the electric piano we’re strapping to the arm. He’s really getting into this!
Jack and I are getting there slowly on our little project…
