We had a heap of dying trees and about 150m of willows that needed about 15 feet taken off before winter. We had a contractor chop all the trees, but me and Jackson were on firewood splitting and bark chipping duty!
Jack was helping me run the splitter. He loved playing with it! I think that day we got about 1/3 of my winter wood supply so we’ve got a bit left to go!
Only real problem was that these are pretty loud tools so it’s not helping baby Olivia get her beauty sleep!
Here’s Jackson with some of his soft toy buddies. There’s a few more in storage but these are his favorites. He’ll think it’s Christmas when all our house stuff comes back from the movers…
We popped over the the Viv’s for Ella’s birthday. Had a great time. The kids loved the egg and spoon races!

I think the picture says it all. Jack’s not too sure about the sauce… perhaps they spiked it for the birthday to liven things up?
Jack’s a good boy though, he doesn’t do the hard stuff – like ‘sauce’.
Jack went to Chipmunks for a birthday lunch with one of his mates. Had a great time and ate lots of junk food.
Below, we visited the Hodges and he tried on Fergs gumboots and hat. Looks like a farmer dude now!

Jackson was in the Leeston Santa parade the other day so Sarah and I popped over to check it out and cheer him on. He did great and loved it! I think he was a ‘Super Bat Man Tractor Driver’??
