Jack and I are working on a robot project and aim to do a little bit more each week. Today Jack installed and soldered the led eyes, 300ohm resistors and connected the switch and battery.
Tomorrow he’ll finish soldering the circuit board for the electric piano we’re strapping to the arm. He’s really getting into this!
We stayed at Dads place in Auck. Here’s a photo of the kids just hanging out. Great to see them all together!

Jack and I are building a robot in the garage. I’m teaching him about the tools. We’re planning to add some electronics along the way and see what we can make it do! Going to be fun!
Jack’s school put on a performance at the Jack Mann Theatre last week. His class did a Maori dance and they all totally rocked!
We took the kids to the Springfield 4×4 MudFest. Livvy liked it the best but all had a good time. Just feels good to get out in the sun!
I took the kids out for a play at the beach. We popped over to New Brighton and got our feet wet. These two just love hanging out together!
