Ya’know. Sometimes it’s just a relaxing unwind to just walk around the farm and look at the trees. I find it’s just a lovely way to spend a little time. Walk – breath – relax…
Looks like the kids have been building a wee tree hut on the ground too…

Check out how much work the builders got through today! Was a little hard to work with the din but they totally demolished the bathroom and hallway! We’re realigning the hallway to get down to the rumpus room so I can make that the master bedroom… We may manage the bathroom do-up ourselves
Sarah’s new flash stables. Man they’ve built these things tough! Has to be the strongest in the Waikato!! Will be finished this week! She’s stoked!
For the last day of the school holiday we all went to Rotorua and did the Luge. Jack and I did the Zipline and we also got a visit in to the Classic car museum! Big day!
It finally arrived! We have a wee tractor to mow the paddocks!
Sarah’s mega tough stables with huge tackroom are taking shape!! Getting close now! I think she’ll want to live out there!
Here’s a good shot of the new stables going in…
Well, it looks like we’ve officially inherited a farm dog called Jess. She’s pretty sweet and obedient, just a good off the lead dog to mooch around the farm. She’s pretty old but I feel like she belongs here 😉
My wonderful wife riding on some super green Waikato grass. Lovely sunny day up here. To be honest it would be nice to get a little rain to cool it down!
Thanks to a really fortunate timing of events with a visit to a tractor guy in Morrinsville, we now have a tractor for the block! Just an old crust thing but about 20hp and comes with topper and a bucket! I think we’re slowly becoming farmers!
