Sarah, me and the kids stayed at the Top10 in Coromandel last night and went out fishing today. Lovely day, good test for getting boat in and out on the ramp…
Livvy caught the biggest and Jackson/Sarah both had a blast casting lures to Kahawhai and catching them. We bought home a few fish, but mostly it was great just hanging out with the family.
We got rid of the fishy smell by taking a dip at the Miranda Hot Pools on the way home. Looking forward to snapper sandwiches tomorrow!
We’re both sad and happy. Livvy is now a big girl and at school! She’s loving it and we had a great meal out at Lonestar last night. Love that girl!
Another win for Jack! This time he was in the under 10’s Trampoline contest in Rangiora, Christchurch. Go Jack! Very proud of you!

First Competition in Auckland done! Early morning start for the Waikato Stone crew but Jackson did really well. It was so awesome to have Jane Stone and the rest of the Golflands Stones to cheer Jackson on!

For the last day of the school holiday we all went to Rotorua and did the Luge. Jack and I did the Zipline and we also got a visit in to the Classic car museum! Big day!
Well, it looks like we’ve officially inherited a farm dog called Jess. She’s pretty sweet and obedient, just a good off the lead dog to mooch around the farm. She’s pretty old but I feel like she belongs here 😉
Thanks to a really fortunate timing of events with a visit to a tractor guy in Morrinsville, we now have a tractor for the block! Just an old crust thing but about 20hp and comes with topper and a bucket! I think we’re slowly becoming farmers!
