Jack’s Parade Ride!
Jackson was in the Leeston Santa parade the other day so Sarah and I popped over to check it out and cheer him on. He did great and loved it! I think he was a ‘Super Bat Man Tractor Driver’??
The balloon visit was a little ‘deflating’ but fun.
We popped up to Darfield to see the ‘Balloon Day’ but unfortunately it was too windy and they could blow them up. Still nice to go see the big Balloon even if it was a little ‘flat’.

This is me taking jack for a very slow cruise on the bike around the farm. I think we got up to about 3kph! He loved it!
Jack’s Lego Creations
What a smart lad we have. Jack did these all by himself! He keeps inventing little vehicles with the Lego set. Engineering mind eh!
A visit to the Sallie’s ‘Big Boys Toys’ day!
While getting a new front tyre on the motorbike at the Suzuki shop, I chatted with the guy doing the sausage sizzle and it turned out he was the Pastor of the Linwood Salvation Army.
He told me they were having a ‘Big Boys Toys’ day so the next weekend, Jack and I trotted off to the church. Awesome service and lots of toys!

It took Jackson about 30 secs to find my model bike (Suzuki Katana).
They had decorated the Church with all sorts of cool toys. Bikes, Kayaks, Kites, Scooters etc…

Then he spotted a plane so crawled up inside.
He loved the tank though. When he climbed in it I could hardly get him out! He kept asking if I could take it home. 😉 That’s my boy!

Sarah wrote the word “Emily” on some paper and left the room. When she came back, Jack had written the name a number of times of the paper! What a clever boy we have!
Meet the new member of the family. ‘Bob’ the dog!
We decided to get Jackson a dog. This is Bob the Cairn Terrier. Silly name but Jack named him. 🙂 Look how happy he is – he totally loves Bob!

I took Jackson for a fun day down at Rakaia. We went to the Salmon World aquarium and fed some fish. Had a bite at the cafe, stood by the giant fish sign, played on the playground then went for a drive to the beach where we dodged waves and threw stones…
