He’s just worked out jumps and can also drop in on the quarter pipe at Rolleston. What a cool kid! Taking after his Dad for sure!

A Stoney Christmas!
Here’s a pile of photos from the Stone family Christmas 2013! It was an epic bash and total chaos for a week but in a good way! We had the best time – love them all!
Merry Christmas!!
A big fat Merry Christmas from the Stones!! (Isn’t he cute)…
Jack’s 7th Birthday!
What a weekend! Definitely full on having a pack of 6-7 year olds staying the night! They were ok, plenty of fun, go-karts, bikes, basketball, tenting, fire, games etc! Well done Jack! 7 years old is a bit of a milestone, we’re losing our wee boy and gaining a young man!
Fishing with Chris…
A mate, Chris asked me if I wanted to come fishing with him the next day, so I of course jumped at the chance! We went to a few rivers, but the Opihi Gorge was the star of the day! Check out these awesome photos of the gorge!
Jack at basketball
Just a few photos from Jack’s basketball match the other night.
This is Livvie’s good friend Charlie. They’re great mates!
Squirtle!… A great Day at the Hood!
Meet ‘Squirtle’ the new addition to the Stone clan. 30yo, retro ski boat with a beasty motor. We just couldn’t miss the water fun this summer! Christened her on Lake Hood today with a few good friends and had a blast. It goes like snot! All the boys got out on the ski biscuit and I wasn’t able to make Jack fall off!
The clan. Arthur, Isaac, Thomas, Esther, Karolyn, Dean, Charli and Billy!
Jack and the boys trying to figure out how to get the Ski Biscuit going…
Livvy’s good mate Charli..
And this is what happened to Jack when he slipped climbing on! Good effort eh!
He got home, read one page and fell asleep. Mush have been a good day!
The Stone Men’s Selfie…
Interesting comparison. What a difference 34 years makes!! He’s on his way and should grow up big and strong like Dad! Funny eh…
Fresh air for the kids!
I took the kids up to Castle Rock today to get some southern air in their lungs. They had a ball, did well and were completely exhausted at the end of it all.
I thought I’d see how fit Jack was on the way back so I put a rock in his backpack (about 10kg) and he walked back to the truck. It was a practice for me taking him tramping. Good lad though, he toughed it back and earned a chocolate bar!
Rounded off the day with a picnic dinner in a chair tent they made on the lawn. Totally loved hanging with the kids today. They were fantastic!
Day at the Derby!
When we saw an ad in the paper for a ‘Combine Harvester Demolition Derby’ we just had to go!! It was just a great day out with the kids. They totally loved it!
