Well, it’s day 2 and Jacks having fun getting used to the big scary world. It’s a great introduction to the world, being thrust down a birth canal, slapped, soaked, blinded (by light), jabbed by a needle, thrown at a breast and told “suck this”, then thrown around like a rugby ball!
All things considered, he’s doing great!
^ How could ya not love this face! Gorgeous – he’ll turn the girls heads!
^ Mum (Sarah) and baby Jackson spending a quality moment together amidst the busyness of the day.
^Julian’s mum (Diane) cuddling the lad after flying down that morning from Auckland. I think my dad mentioned something about the ‘Stone Name’ being able to live on’ now he has a first Grandson.
^ Sarah and Jack just hanging out. The midwives at Lincoln are fantastic and our personal midwives Maxine and Rebecca from Darfield were exceptional – Legends! They were awesome on the day.
^ This is his ‘pushing out a poo’ or ‘letting rip a fart’ face – ha ha. Kinda a bit like dads face when he’s served up vegetables… 😉
^ This is Timothy (Tim). He’s our friends’ Jess and Peter Dobb’s little boy. Tim’s hopefully going to be a great playmate for Jack – they’re 100 days apart!
Tim’s very cool, and incredibly active – keeping Jess and Pete busy!
^ You can just tell that Jack and Tim and going to be great mates, as well as a couple of troublemakers! Don’t they look like a good team! I love the matching hats!
^ Some friends, Darren and Kate Chettle having a cuddle. They have a wee baby growing away. Still in the oven but due out early next year. If it’s a boy, we’ll officially have a ‘gang of three’. If it’s a girl, Jack and Tim will be after her! Either way it’ll be heaps of fun!
Sarah and Jack come home tomorrow! Awesome! As for now, it’s time for bed. zzzzzzz
